10 Activities To Do Around Vancouver on Easter Weekend 2022

Get outside in Vancouver this Easter long weekend! There are many activities you can enjoy with the family. Go on a bunny-themed run, enjoy the company of animals, or see a play. This list of the best activities to do around Vancouver for Easter 2022 is a great way to plan your holiday.

Sign-up For the Big Easter Run

The bunny-themed Big Easter Run takes place on April 16th at Jericho Beach Park, home of some of Vancouver’s cutest wild rabbits. You can choose from 5 km or 10 km courses. If not then sign-up for the kid-friendly 1-3 km option. Your entry includes bunny ears, a chocolate finishers medal, and an Easter egg hunt for kids registered in the 1-3 km race. Ride the Stanley Park Railway Easter Train

Go enjoy the Stanely Park Train this Easter. Watch for bunnies as you ride the train through the forest.  Kids can meet the Easter Bunny and check out fun displays in the plaza. The Easter Train experience runs from April 15-18. Buy tickets online in advance here.

Go on an Easter Adventure

Ride the Sea to Sky Gondola for incredible views of Howe Sound and the surrounding mountains. From the to you can w ander down the Spirit Trail to collect chocolate eggs. The Easter egg hunt takes place Sunday, April 17th from 10 am to noon. Or, take your sense of adventure to new heights at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park for egg-citing Easter adventures from April 14th to 18th. The Park will be decorated for spring and will host special Easter-themed activities. Win a prize when you complete Echo Eagles Scavenger Hunt. Meet bunnies and chicks up close with Cinemazoo. The birds of Raptors Ridge are returning to showcase beautiful hawks, owls, and falcons too!

The Chilliwack Tulip Festival

The Chilliwack Tulip Festival is the largest flower festival in the province. There will be more than 20 acres of 30 tulip varieties this season. There are also 15 different kinds of daffodils with more than nine million bulbs this year.
While you’re there, you can also play lawn games, visit the rotating food trucks, and drop by The Farm Shop to pick up treats, tulips, gardening supplies, and more.

Visit Maan FarmsEaster Bae Days event at Maan Farms near Vancouver Maan Farms has a unique family-friendly Easter attraction this year: Bae Days. The experience includes an Easter egg hunt, snuggling baby farm animals, and playtime in the Barnyard Adventureland. The event takes place April 15-17. Book tickets online.

Spring Fling Boat Party 

an adult-only party on the Burrard Queen vessel hosted by Vancouver Boat Parties. The event is a 3-hour cruise with a couple of DJs, a dance floor and an onboard bar on Saturday, April 16th. Tickets start at $25. This is not advertised as an Easter event but will be plenty of fun!

Rabbitats’ Easter BunnyFest at Lavenderland

A special event featuring rescued bunnies, an artisan market and family-friendly activities. Funds raised at the event benefit Rabbitats Rescue Society. The event happens on April 16th and 17th in 2022.

Easterfest

Bring out the family and take a hay ride down to the Bunny Trail to embark on an egg hunt!
Visit the farm animals in the petting barn and Farmville, enjoy the peddle karts, jumping pillows, and play structures. More information.
